    Join us for a conversation with Randy Oostra, President and CEO of ProMedica, for a discussion of how health systems translate understanding about the social determinants of health into action. ProMedica, a nonprofit health system serving 27 counties in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan, has a strategic focus on addressing the drivers of health for patients and communities by concentrating on the social determinants. ProMedica’s model emphasizes the importance of catalytic economic development and collaboration, in addition to adopting practices like screening patients for food, housing, and other basic needs.
