Cosponsored by the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs

Due to the Affordable Care Act, many women will be newly able to access health coverage, through the Medicaid expansion or the subsidized marketplace. These increased opportunities for coverage have, however, created new challenges for women who are pregnant, as there are overlapping eligibility levels and potential coverage gaps. This webinar explored current eligibility levels and benefits that can help improve women’s health, potential coverage gaps for women who may become pregnant or who are pregnant, and potential roles funders can play. Speakers included: Carolyn McCoy of the Association for Maternal and Child Health Programs and Dania Palanker of the National Women’s Law Center.
