Water is vital for human health, yet many communities face challenges accessing safe, affordable drinking water. Increasing water costs, water shutoffs, and issues of water quality can seriously affect the health and economic well-being of communities. In this webinar, participants learned about the threats of unaffordable water, how advocates have organized to confront the problem, and ways communities can pioneer solutions. Speakers include Radhika Fox of U.S. Water Alliance, Monica Lewis-Patrick of People’s Water Board Detroit, Elizabeth Mack of Michigan State University, and Nancy Stoner of the Pisces Foundation.
