Cosponsored with Arizona Age-Friendly Network and Grantmakers In Aging

With few supports and services available to family caregivers, their time, resources, health, and well-being are increasingly strained. No matter where people are in the journey of family caregiving—just beginning to anticipate a need, helping to coordinate a care transition, or taking care of a family member full time—having a good framework to help guide both caregivers and communities makes the process easier and will significantly improve health outcomes for care recipients and caregivers alike. This webinar was a conversation with Dana Marie Kennedy, State Director of AARP Arizona, and taught how communities can adapt to the needs of family caregivers and provide the resources needed to support people aging in place.
