Local Impact Investing Models for Health Conversion Foundations

August 26th, 2022| 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Local impact investing is particularly attractive to health conversion / health legacy foundations - institutions created from the sale of health care organizations. These foundations are developing local impact investment programs as a strategy to keep assets within their communities as well as to generate measurable community benefits and financial returns. LOCUS Impact Investing and Grantmakers In Health held a virtual - and conversational - learning session designed to identify guideposts for best practice by health conversion foundation local investors. Participants engaged in peer-to-peer discussion as they explored elements of program design and how to start lifting up effective and equitable practices.
