SUMMARY:Improving Access to Healthy Food in Rural Communities
DESCRIPTION:Many assume that rural communities have easy access to fresh\, healthy food due to their proximity to farms. However\, rural communities experience significant food access challenges and face barriers that complicate the adoption of solutions being used in urban settings. During this webinar funders learned about strategies to improve access to healthy food in rural communities\, ranging from partnerships with community development finance institutions to local policy change efforts.
