DESCRIPTION:From the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act to the Dietary Guidelines for Americans\, the past eight years have been fruitful for federal healthy eating/active living (HEAL) policy. With a new Administration and a new Congress\, the policy landscape has shifted\, requiring funders to reevaluate their focus. \nThis webinar taught us about recent trends and developments in federal and state HEAL policy and the impact on local efforts\, how advocacy organizations are adjusting their strategies\, the opportunities and challenges for the field\, and what health funders can do to effectively support their grantees and HEAL policymaking going forward.
