DESCRIPTION:This content was originally slated for the 2020 GIH Annual Conference on Health Philanthropy in Minneapolis\, Minnesota. \nThe practice of dental therapy\, which expands the oral health workforce to include mid-level providers\, is widely recognized as an oral health equity best practice that improves access to critical oral health care and improves health outcomes for vulnerable populations as a community-based delivery model. This on-demand webinar highlights advocacy efforts to authorize dental therapy training\, licensure\, certification and ensure standardized metrics at both the state and national levels.
