DESCRIPTION:Grantmakers In Health is pleased to convene the CEO Working Group on Access and Coverage to strategize about philanthropy’s role in addressing challenging topics. Our 60-minute call was held on: \nWednesday\, October 6\, 2021 \nLeaders in the field discussed why it is important for health philanthropy to address disability access and inclusion and describe how funders across the country have begun to prioritize these issues in their grantmaking and operations. Speakers included Jesse Beason of the Northwest Health Foundation\, Richard Besser of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation\, Rebecca Cokley of the Ford Foundation\, and Ryan Easterly of the WITH Foundation. \nThese invitation-only calls are open to group members (CEOs of health foundations that support or conduct work related to coverage and access).
