SUMMARY:Affordable Housing and Health: Long-Term Solutions
DESCRIPTION:The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated housing insecurity for millions of Americans who have faced the risk of eviction\, foreclosure\, and homelessness due to job loss\, medical debt\, and illness over the past year and a half. While temporary measures such as eviction moratoriums and emergency rental assistance have provided relief for some\, longer-term solutions are required to address a preexisting affordable housing crisis that has disproportionately impacted Black\, Latino\, and Indigenous communities. \nThis webinar explored innovative measures to address these issues. Speakers included Andy McMahon of United Health Care and Tony Pickett of The Grounded Solutions Network. This session was moderated by Amy Latham of The Colorado Health Foundation. \n \n
