DESCRIPTION:Local impact investing is particularly attractive to health conversion/health legacy foundations – institutions created from the sale of health care organizations. These foundations are developing local impact investment programs as a strategy to keep assets within their communities as well as to generate measurable community benefits and financial returns. LOCUS Impact Investing and Grantmakers In Health held a virtual – and conversational – learning session designed to identify guideposts for best practices by health conversion foundation local investors.
