The programs coordinator will be responsible for coordinating logistics for events, projects, and grants in partnership with Program Officers for an innovative Foundation that is addressing the root causes to some of Idaho’s most pressing health issues.

Pay: $18-$25/hourly

Responsibilities

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Coordinate all event and grant logistics including travel, catering, and speakers
  2. Work with Business Administration Manager to ensure contracts and reporting are completed
  3. Assist in organizing meetings and preparing meeting materials
  4. Take meeting minutes and provide written summaries
  5. Assist Executive Director with schedule and travel
  6. Assist with Foundation Board of Directors meetings
  7. Update project schedules and timelines
  8. Maintain department files and contacts
  9. Support Foundation staff with meeting scheduling and travel
  10. Respond to email and provide technical assistance related to Foundation events, programs, and grants
  11. Survey distribution and result compilation and summary
  12. Data base management
  13. Manage Steps for Schools event

SECONDARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Perform other duties as requested by the Executive Director

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years coordinating project logistics, schedules, meetings, projects, etc

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (two years work experience is equivalent to one year of college)

Knowledge of:

  • Working knowledge of event coordination, project timelines, and budgets

Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite – Intermediate
  • Survey Monkey (or similar platform)- Intermediate
  • Event planning including logistics, travel and catering
  • Attention to detail and proactive
  • Organization
  • Self-starter
  • Strong follow-through
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Basic Math
  • Ability to adapt to changing enviornments

Ability to:

  • Maintain appropriate level of confidentiality
  • Prioritize and multitask
