Eileen Salinsky is a Program Advisor at Grantmakers In Health (GIH), responsible for issues related to population health and advocacy strategies programs. Prior to joining GIH, Ms. Salinsky served as Principal Research Associate at the National Health Policy Forum, where she led the forum’s work on public health and safety net activities. She was the former Director of Public Health Policy in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and previously served as Vice President at The Lewin Group. Ms. Salinsky holds a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Cornell University and a master of business administration degree in health administration from Temple University.
