The Long View: New Year, New Practices

So many in philanthropy want to contribute to building a more just and equitable future, but the question is, how? Dealing with compounding and urgent crises can easily consume our energies. How do we begin to imagine and create practices that bring about new opportunities for a vibrant future?

Co-designed by the Rippel Foundation and Grantmakers In Health, this webinar featured Cassie Robinson, a futurist and philanthropic leader who works, as she describes it, in the “entanglement of what-is and what-might-be.” Ms. Robinson has leveraged her experience in philanthropy to map out grantmaking practices that allow funders to collectively steward resources and make meaningful change. Participants gained a concrete, practical understanding of how to work differently, and how to get started.
