DESCRIPTION:Cosponsored with Association of Baltimore Area Grantmakers\, Economic Opportunity Funders\, Environmental Grantmakers Association\, Funders’ Committee for Civic Participation\, Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees\, Health & Environmental Funders Network\, Neighborhood Funders Group\, United Philanthropy Forum\, and Women Donors Network \nDuring this February First Monday + Election Series discussion\, participants heard insights and data points uncovered from the Funders’ Committee for Civic Participation’s first State Funding Survey. Funders heard key highlights of the state funding landscape for civic participation\, learned how funders are approaching longer-term power-building investments in states\, and explored what pathways can be created to more effectively align grantmakers to support the field. Using one state as a case study\, the webinar also examined how coordinating bodies\, intermediaries\, national\, and in-state funders are all operating within a particular state.
