GIH’s 2026 Annual Conference call for proposals will open in just a few weeks! We are seeking proposals for site visits, Learning Labs, Breakouts, and Quick Takes. Successful submissions highlight actionable ideas for funders and offer ample opportunity for audience engagement. The 2026 GIH Annual Conference on Health Philanthropy will be held June 8 - 12 in Baltimore, MD. 

Register for the 2025 GIH Health Policy Exchange

Building on the important conversations begun last month at the 2025 Grantmakers In Health (GIH) Annual Conference in New Orleans, we are excited to announce the 2025 GIH Health Policy Exchange, Protecting the Freedom to Give. The multi-day conference will provide opportunities for health funders focused on policy to network with policymakers and other funders, exchange ideas and best practices, and identify opportunities for collaboration.

This year’s Health Policy Exchange will be held on November 19 – 21, 2025, at The Westin Arlington in Arlington, VA and will delve into how health philanthropy should address the unique policy challenges posed by our current moment.

Register for the 2025 Rural Health Philanthropy Partnership Meeting

Grantmakers In Health (GIH), the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy, the National Rural Health Association, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Office of Rural Health will co-host the 2025 Rural Health Philanthropy Partnership Meeting, Enhancing Rural Health Across Lifespan through Collaboration and Partnership, welcoming foundations, federal entities, and other partners to discuss how our combined efforts might produce better health outcomes for rural communities. This year’s meeting is October 9-10, 2025 in Bethesda, Maryland.
