Healthy Aging Meetings

Rochester, Buffalo, Utica – New York

Grantmakers In Health and Grantmakers In Aging partnered with the NY Funders Alliance to convene a series of three meetings in Rochester, Buffalo, and Utica on April 4-7. These meetings, developed by Lisa Fasolo Frishman, Executive Director of the NY Funders Alliance, will bring together funders, donors, and other key stakeholders from across the region to discuss local priorities for supporting healthy age-friendly communities. Colin Pekruhn, Program Director at GIH, and John Feather, President and CEO of GIA, helped inform these important conversations by sharing national perspectives on trends in the field and philanthropy, discussing opportunities and challenges stakeholders face in their work, and offer insights into potential solutions that support healthy age-friendly communities. These convenings are made possible through support from the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York.
