With COVID-19 there seem to be more questions than answers, particularly for funders who want to respond effectively and efficiently. As the first in a series of seven webinars addressing pressing issues related to the role of philanthropy in COVID-19 response and recovery, this webinar explored how funders can respond to community needs by getting money out the door quickly, while maintaining accuracy and accountability. Speakers included Shalini Eddens of Urgent Action Fund for Women’s Human Rights and Edgar Villanueva of Schott Foundation for Public Education and the discussion will be moderated by Sally Ray of the Center for Disaster Philanthropy.
