Jill Nowak
Jill Nowak, CPA, is Principal of The Nowak Consulting Group, LLC. In that role, she draws upon more than 30 years of experience as a nonprofit executive focused on finance, governance, and operations of organizations. Nowak was recently Chief Financial and Administrative Officer and Executive Vice President of Impact Investing at Missouri Foundation for Health. She has also held executive positions with the American Association of Orthodontists, The Arts and Education Council of St. Louis, and two private schools.
Throughout her nonprofit career, Nowak has been committed to providing clear information and analysis to guide Board and team planning and decisionmaking. She has led several innovation projects related to organizational development, technology evolution, and nurturing talent for high performance. As a “values first” leader, Nowak has aligned internal practices and policies with organizational values and priorities. This includes investment policies, compensation systems, governance structures, and financial dashboards.
In addition to positions with nonprofit organizations, Nowak is actively involved in several mission-driven organizations as a member of their Board of Directors. These organizations include the Women’s Funding Network, The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis, and the St. Louis Metropolitan Zoological and Museum District.
