The Bravewell Collaborative is a philanthropic organization that works to “accelerate the adoption of integrative medicine within the health care system and facilitate the creation of a culture of health and well-being throughout America.” In 2011 Bravewell commissioned a survey to determine how integrative medicine is currently being practiced across the United States and to provide current data on the patient populations and health conditions most commonly treated with integrative strategies. The findings of this survey were released in February 2012 in Integrative Medicine In America: How Integrative Medicine is Being Practiced in Clinical Centers Across the United States, and the report is a map of the field for providers, policymakers, and consumers.

This webinar discussed The Bravewell Collaborative, the report, and how philanthropy is investing in this emerging field.

*The Integrative Health Funders Network is supported by the W. K. Kellogg Foundation, the Fannie E. Rippel Foundation, and the Samueli Foundation.
