Capturing Election Momentum for Building Power

October 1, 2018 3:00 pm Eastern Time

Cosponsored with Funders’ Committee for Civic Participation, Association of Baltimore Area Grantmakers, Chesapeake Bay Funders Network, Economic Opportunity Funders, Environmental Grantmakers Association, Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees, Health and Environmental Funders Network, Neighborhood Funders' Group, Philanthropy New York, United Philanthropy Forum, and Women Donors Network

During this last webinar in the FCCP Election Series Discussion listeners explored practical pathways that can capture election momentum to build long-term power for communities of interest. Together participants crafted potential solutions to help bridge the post-election decline in funding and retain grantee capacities at a time when that will be critical.  The webinar was moderated by Steven Cole-Schwartz of The Partnership Funds and speakers included DaMareo Cooper of Ohio Organizing Collaborative, Elianne Farhat of TakeAction Minnesota, and Matthew Henderson of OLÉ Education Fund.
