Expanding Family-Friendly Workplace Policies

Cosponsored by the Early Childhood Funders Collaborative

Family-friendly workplace policies are a key support for the health and well-being of children and their parents, but the United States has long lagged behind other countries in policies such as family and medical leave and paid sick days. There are signs, however, that the tide may be turning, with a national bipartisan movement addressing paid leave and recent gains at the state and local levels. This webinar discussed the emerging policy consensus and current efforts to make comprehensive paid leave a reality across the country. Speakers included Myra Jones-Taylor of ZERO TO THREE, Brigid Schulte of New America, and Maisha Simmons of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
