#GIHac 2021: Register Today
The 2021 Grantmakers In Health Annual Conference on Health Philanthropy will be held virtually from Tuesday, June 8 to Friday, June 11, 2021. The GIH Annual Conference is the best place to meet up with the bright minds, seasoned experts, and innovative practitioners working in health philanthropy today.
CONFERENCE THEME: BUILDING A JUST AND EQUITABLE FUTURE
2020 was a turbulent year—one which illustrated numerous inequities that inhibit our ability to achieve better health through better philanthropy. These disparities are directly related to the health care system, our public health infrastructure, and to the social and structural factors that drive health outcomes. The challenges highlighted over the last year provide an opportunity to reimagine and restructure the way we design and implement efforts to improve health outcomes, and philanthropic institutions are well positioned to help lead the way.
This year’s annual conference will provide a space for health funders to come together and share how they responded to the challenges presented in 2020, exchange lessons learned, and discuss how to partner with allies to implement sustainable changes that lead to better health for all. The conference will also offer an opportunity to think critically and creatively about how foundations can continue to adapt to the changing landscape to build a more just and equitable future.
Grantmakers In Health is offering conference support opportunities for select activities and expenses. All sponsors will have their logo featured in the conference platform (main “lobby” page), in social media mentions, and on our website. Additional benefits and recognition are described in the table below.
NEW IN 2021: For the first time, GIH is welcoming new organizations to become conference sponsors. This includes those in aligned fields, such as health philanthropy advisors, as well as firms offering technology, communications, planning, or investment services to the philanthropic sector. If your organization is part of this group, you will find the GIH community is an engaged and influential group of practitioners. Your support will be recognized in many ways, and we welcome you to establish a personalized page in our virtual exhibit hall. This page can be used for polls, discussion, and virtual meetings or calls. Plus, sponsors will be able to see a list of individuals who have visited their page.
