GIH has launched a quarterly call series for CEO Working Group on Access and Coverage members to strategize about philanthropy’s role during these challenging times. Our second hour-long call was held on:

Leonardo Cuello, Director of Health Policy for the National Health Law Program, gave a snapshot of the latest administrative and legislative activities related to health care access and coverage that funders need to be aware of as we head into the election season. There was also a funder-led conversation on philanthropy’s COVID-19 response, during which group members had a chance to reflect on the roles they played in the pandemic’s first wave and discussed which actions they would recommend replicating and which they would do differently.
During this confidential conversation, philanthropic leaders shared information, swapped strategies, raised concerns, and asked for one another’s advice. The webinar was not recorded or disseminated. These calls are open only to CEO Working Group on Access and Coverage members.
