Integrative health care is not just for adults–children are an important part of the picture too. A holistic approach to children’s health addresses more than just physical well-being; it includes their minds, bodies, and spirits. Integrative treatments are being used across the country for children with chronic illnesses, acute pain, behavioral/emotional problems, and for disease prevention as well. On this webinar, Dr. Kathi J. Kemper, chair of the Center for Integrative Medicine at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine, and director of the Center for Integrative Medicine at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center discussed the intersection of children and integrative medicine treatments.
