Dental Therapy Authorization Landscape and Advocacy Opportunities

The practice of dental therapy, which expands the oral health workforce to include mid-level providers, is widely recognized as an oral health equity best practice that improves access to critical oral health care and improves health outcomes for vulnerable populations as a community-based delivery model. This on-demand webinar highlights advocacy efforts to authorize dental therapy training, licensure, certification and ensure standardized metrics at both the state and national levels. Funders will also learn how community engagement best practices are used to inform the model and advocacy efforts. The featured speaker is Tera Bianchi of Community Catalyst.
