Start your new year with a science refresher! This webinar provided highlights of new research identifying how environmental conditions affect people’s health and children’s healthy development, and documenting how science lessons can lead to better health protection. Speakers included: Philip Landrigan of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Mount Sinai Hospital, who highlighted neurodevelopmental impacts and the First Thousand Days Initiative; Laura Vandenberg of the University of Massachusetts-Amherst School of Public Health and Health Sciences, who discussed low-dose exposures and Bisphenol S; and Tracey Woodruff of the University of California-San Francisco, Program on Reproductive Health and the Environment, who provided an overview of environmental health science and policy implications.
