Multisector Plans for Aging: A Global Perspective
Tuesday, March 14, 2:00-3:00 pm ET

Cosponsored by Grantmakers In Aging

Across the United States, Multisector Plans for Aging are driving public-private partnerships at the highest level of state government. Globally, 128 countries have national or subnational plans on aging. These plans can influence policies and funding mechanisms across sectors with corresponding metrics to track impact. Grantmakers In Aging and Grantmakers In Health convened a conversation around planning efforts worldwide, philanthropy’s role in catalyzing multi-sector plans, and the feasibility of a national U.S. plan for aging. Speakers included Peter Kaldes of American Society on Aging and Vijeth Iyengar of AARP’s Office of International Affairs.
