Responsible and Equitable Use of Artificial Intelligence by Foundations

Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 2:00 PM Eastern Time

Cosponsored with the Technology Association of Grantmakers

The Technology Association of Grantmakers (TAG) recently released the first version of its groundbreaking "Responsible AI Adoption in Philanthropy" framework. A collaborative effort between TAG and Project Evident, this framework was released in December 2023 to provide essential guidance on the responsible and equitable use of artificial intelligence (AI) within grantmaking organizations.

Participants joined this discussion to learn about the collaborative process that resulted in this first version of the framework and to gain a deeper understanding of the framework's design principles and how they foster equity, transparency, and responsible AI adoption. Speakers included Jean Westrick, Executive Director, Technology Association of Grantmakers, and Sarah Di Troia, Senior Strategic Advisor, Product Innovation, Project Evident.
