Supporting Communities to Leverage Federal Food and Nutrition Opportunities

Even before last year’s White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health, the Biden administration made significant investments to expand and improve food access and nutrition. Despite these efforts, many communities that would benefit most face significant barriers to leveraging these opportunities. Leaders from the field explored the current federal options to support food access and nutrition and how philanthropy can better help support communities. Speakers included Elizabeth Atwell and Ellie Bomstein of Wallace Center at Winrock International and Ben Feldman of Farmers Market Coalition.
