Supporting Seriously Ill Elders in the COVID Era

May 18 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. ET

The COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately affected our most vulnerable family members, friends, and neighbors—especially older adults and the seriously ill. Now, more than ever, communities are being confronted with the fact that these populations desperately need better social supports and access to quality care services. This webinar discussed the lessons learned from the pandemic, examples of best and promising practices and the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead, and what funders of all levels of experience serving these populations can do to make a difference. Speakers included Lin Hollowell of The Duke Endowment, Loren Pogir of Transforming Care Partners and The Stupski Foundation, and Christine Ritchie of Center for Palliative Care at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital.
