The Future of the Affordable Care Act

November 13 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. ET

In December 2019, a Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruling on Texas v. Azar held the Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate unconstitutional and called into question whether the remaining provisions of the law could still stand. On November 10, the Supreme Court of the United States will hear an appeal to reverse that ruling. On this webinar, Katie M. Keith, faculty member and researcher at Georgetown University and Health Affairs contributing editor, discussed the analysis of the lawsuit, a summary of the November 10 oral argument, and its potential implications for health coverage across the country.
