Ever since the Affordable Care Act was passed in 2010, many health funders have been interested in seeing it reach its full potential. One important focus of this work has been on outreach and enrollment into health insurance coverage. In this podcast, GIH staff Ann McMillan interviews Anne Filipic, president of Enroll America, about the success of the third open enrollment period, the effective messages that are reaching consumers, and the importance of in-person assistance and online tools. As the field looks to the fourth open enrollment period and beyond, Anne will share her views on making sure best practices from the enrollment community live on for years to come.
