GIH has partnered with Rural Matters—a biweekly podcast about rural education, business, and health—to produce a series on rural health and philanthropy entitled, Viewing Rural Health, Education, and Business Through an Equity Lens. The podcast’s mission is to increase awareness, inform discussions, and expand the dialogue on the most important issues facing rural stakeholders. On the fourth and final episode of the series, representatives from philanthropy-serving organizations discussed priority issues and promising strategies to strengthen and expand philanthropic investments in rural areas. Speakers included Emily Hinsey of Grantmakers in Aging, Ann Rodgers of Grantmakers In Health, Allen Smart of PhilanthropywoRx, and Debby Warren of the United Philanthropy Forum.
