GIH has partnered with Rural Matters–a biweekly podcast about rural education, business, and health–to produce a series on rural health and philanthropy entitled, Viewing Rural Health, Education, and Business Through an Equity Lens. The podcast’s mission is to increase awareness, inform discussions, and expand the dialogue on the most important issues facing rural stakeholders. The first episode of the four-part series elevated lessons learned from the pandemic and resources available to communities during recovery, such as access to housing and health care, increased broadband equity, and sustainable infrastructure enhancements. Podcast guests include William Buster of the Dogwood Health Trust, Nathan Ramsey of the Mountain Area Workforce Development Board, and Tressie White of the Montana Healthcare Foundation.
