Grantmakers In Health, the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy, the National Rural Health Association, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Office of Rural Health are excited to convene the next Rural Health Philanthropy Partnership Meeting, welcoming more than 70 foundations, partner entities, and federal entities to discuss how our combined efforts might produce better health outcomes for rural communities
The theme for this year is around the rural health workforce and opportunities for philanthropy to be engaged. As in the past, there will be ample time for networking built in, as well as the always popular Federal Roundtables.
These annual meetings are intended for foundations, corporate giving programs, and individual donors who have activities or programs dedicated to rural health care. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with one another, share ideas, and discuss how combined efforts can produce better outcomes for rural communities. As with previous gatherings, participants will hear from speakers from government agencies and other rural health leaders, network with peers, and learn about ongoing engagements occurring throughout rural America.
Make reservations at the Mayflower Hotel (1127 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20036). The group rate of $332 per night will be available until October 4th or until the block sells out, whichever comes first.
