Grantmakers In Health, the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy, the National Rural Health Association, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Office of Rural Health are excited to convene the next annual Rural Health Philanthropy Partnership Meeting, welcoming foundations, federal entities, and other partners to discuss how our combined efforts might produce better health outcomes for rural communities
These yearly meetings are intended for foundations, corporate giving programs, and individual donors who have activities or programs dedicated to rural health care. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with one another, share ideas, and discuss how combined efforts can produce better outcomes for rural communities. As with previous gatherings, participants will hear from speakers from government agencies and other rural health leaders, network with peers, and learn about ongoing engagements occurring throughout rural America.
Our theme this year is “Thinking Anew: Innovative Approaches to Advance Rural Health.” Various speaker panels will feature funders and stakeholders focusing on rural leadership development, capacity building, community engagement, and innovation. As in the past, there will be ample time for networking built in, as well as the always popular Federal Roundtables.
Join us Thursday, October 24 through Friday, October 25, 2024 at the Marriott Bethesda Downtown (7707 Woodmont Avenue, Bethesda, Maryland 20814).
