Creating a Movement: Inspiring Innovation in Rural America

We are excited to announce that the theme for the 2026 Rural Health Philanthropy Partnership (RHPP) meeting is “Creating a Movement: Inspiring Innovation in Rural America.” Dr. Monica Bertagnolli, President of the National Academy of Medicine, will deliver this year’s keynote address, highlighting broadening interest in rural health issues and unique opportunities offered by strategic public-private partnerships. The RHPP meeting will explore how collaboration can build on progress already underway in rural and tribal communities, including rural health transformation efforts. Through a series of panel discussions, participants will share promising approaches, funding strategies, and real-world examples of innovation that are strengthening local economies, expanding opportunity, and improving quality of life. Attendees will also have dedicated opportunities to engage with federal funders and space to build new connections and inspire coordinated action to build a sustainable movement for rural innovation across America.
