The Westin Washington, DC City Center | Washington DC

In 2016 funders returned home with a deeper understanding of important topics, an introduction to some key players, and ideas about how to apply what they have learned to their work. Materials from this year’s Fall Forum are available under the Related Content tab at the bottom of this page.

As part of this meeting, Manuel Pastor delivered the fourth annual Lauren LeRoy Health Policy Lecture. Dr. Pastor is Professor of Sociology and American Studies & Ethnicity at the University of Southern California. Founding director of the Center for Justice, Tolerance, and Community at the University of California, Santa Cruz, Dr. Pastor currently directs the Program for Environmental and Regional Equity (PERE) at USC and USC’s Center for the Study of Immigrant Integration (CSII). He holds an economics Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and is the inaugural holder of the Turpanjian Chair in Civil Society and Social Change at USC.

About the Annual Fall Forum
Each fall, GIH offers programming designed for funders with a strong interest in health policy. These meetings, collectively known as the Fall Forum, are an excellent opportunity for grant and policymakers to get up-to-speed on current issues, interact with leading thinkers, and connect.
