Health foundations can play an important role in restoring trust in our nation’s public health system. They are well-positioned to strategically deploy a variety of resources and engage myriad stakeholders to ensure accessible, accurate health information.

To foster connection and information sharing among health funders, GIH created a community of practice for communications staff designed to foster peer relationships, accelerate the sharing of innovative and effective communications approaches, and identify strategies to combat misinformation and disinformation. The community of practice offers virtual and in-person learning opportunities; connects peers in the field; and acts as a hub for resources, including sample documents, tool kits, and templates.
