Con Alma announced Shelbie Corriz as its 2025 Hero of Health award recipient. Each year, Con Alma honors an unsung hero in New Mexico who is dedicated to improving health. This recognition celebrates individuals whose actions advance health equity, reduce disparities, drive meaningful change, and uplift community voices.
Through her leadership in health promotion and nutrition education, Ms. Corriz has helped expand access to healthy food, strengthen community partnerships, and support healthier futures for communities across our state. Her work truly reflects the spirit of the Hero of Health award. In recognition of her outstanding work to advance health equity in New Mexico, Con Alma is honored to make a $2,000 donation to the charity of her choice.
