Whitney Davis

Foundation for a Healthy High Point

The Foundation for a Healthy High Point appointed Whitney Davis as its next Executive Director. Ms. Davis began her new role on October 5, 2026, following a comprehensive national search led by the foundation’s Executive Transition Committee.

Ms. Davis emerged from an outstanding and highly competitive pool of candidates through a search process that attracted exceptional nonprofit and philanthropic leaders from across the country. Throughout the process, she consistently distinguished herself through her strategic vision, leadership experience, commitment to community impact, and deep alignment with the foundation’s mission and values.

A respected leader with deep roots in the High Point, North Carolina, community, Ms. Davis served as the foundation’s Director of Community Engagement and Impact. In that role, she has helped shape its strategic direction, overseen its grantmaking portfolio, strengthened partnerships across the community, and advanced initiatives focused on improving the social determinants of health. Her experience, relationships, and knowledge of the foundation position her to provide both continuity and forward-looking leadership as the organization enters its next chapter.

Ms. Davis has spent her career at the intersection of public health, community engagement, policy advocacy, and systems change. During her tenure with the foundation, she has played a central role in developing community investment strategies, supporting collaborative initiatives, helping steward the organization’s resources, and strengthening its role as a trusted convener and catalyst for community change.

Ms. Davis succeeds Curtis Holloman. The foundation’s board expressed its deep appreciation for his service and leadership over the past five years.

Ms. Pelley previously served as Senior Vice President of External Affairs at the Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center, where she supported board governance and led strategic partnerships, government relations, and advocacy efforts.
