With support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, GIH created this community for communications staff to foster connection and information sharing among health funders. Join the community to foster peer relationships, accelerate the sharing of innovative and effective communications approaches, and identify strategies to combat misinformation and disinformation to restore trust in public health institutions.
The community of practice offers virtual and in-person learning opportunities, connects peers in the field, and acts as a hub for resources, including these sample documents, toolkits, and templates.

The Annual Review of Public Health published a paper about the challenges of online misinformation and their public health recommendations for combatting online misinformation.
Equipping Health Professions Educators to Better Address Medical Misinformation
RTI worked with the CDC, the AAMC, and 5 medical schools to share their learnings about combatting medical misinformation and mistrust. This paper comprises insights from each of the teams and overarching observations regarding the challenges and opportunities involved with leveraging health professions education to address medical misinformation and improve patient health.
