Esther Lok
The New York Community Trust
Esther Lok joined The New York Community Trust in March 2026 and manages The Trust’s grantmaking in health, behavioral health, and human services. Prior to joining The Trust, she served in chief of staff roles at Bridging Access to Care, START Treatment and Recovery Centers, and Sheltering Arms Children and Family Services. Esther previously spent nearly a decade at the Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies representing 180 human services nonprofits advancing anti-poverty policies for low-income New Yorkers. She currently serves as board chair of the National Working Positive Coalition and is a former trustee of the German School Brooklyn. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Esther is bilingual in Chinese and English. She holds a MPA from Baruch College, a MEd from the University of Manchester, UK, and is a graduate of Hong Kong Baptist University.

Juli True Dooley
The Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts
The Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts appointed Juli True Dooley as Director of Programs, who will play a vital role in developing and implementing the organization’s grantmaking agenda.
As Director of Programs, Ms. Dooley will oversee the organization’s grantmaking programs – including the Synergy Initiative, Activation Fund, and Board Designated grants—and work closely with community members, capacity-building partners, and peers within the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors to promote health equity through the organization’s grantmaking.
Ms. Dooley has more than a decade of experience in the nonprofit health care sector. Most recently, she served as the Senior Vice President of Advancement and Communications at the Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center, which serves 35,000 individuals of all ages across Central and MetroWest Massachusetts. In her eight years with the Health Center, she oversaw and grew its fundraising strategy, including grants, individual giving, fundraising events, and corporate sponsorships. In addition, she led the Health Center’s marketing, communications, and community relations efforts.
Ms. Dooley was named one of Worcester Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 in 2025.
