Virtual Grantmakers In Health Orientation

Grantmakers In Health’s (GIH) virtual orientation is a complimentary resource available to staff and trustees of Funding Partner organizations. This brief overview guides an individual or group through GIH tools and resources and includes a demonstration of the GIH portal. The orientation can be catered to specific needs and issue area interests. Participants will also learn how to:  

• Log in to the GIH Portal to update your contact information and interest areas 
• Register for an upcoming GIH webinar, call, or virtual meeting 
• Access hundreds archived of webinars, podcasts, articles, and publications on GIH's website 
• Post a question, answer, or announcement to a GIH e-forum, a digital mailing list for peer-to-peer support and information-sharing  
• Find and connect with peers and their resources through the Funding Partner directory and the custom health philanthropy search bar 
• How to request strategic guidance from GIH staff
• Browse and post on the GIH philanthropy careers board at no cost 
• Volunteer to write for a Views from the Field article or be featured in a Grantmaker Focus profile, both of which appear in our monthly newsletter
