From breakout sessions to quick takes and wellness activities to two inspiring plenary sessions, every corner during day two of the Grantmakers In Health (GIH) Annual Conference on Health Philanthropy, Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Health was filled with conversation and connection. The day’s agenda focused on how funders can find and use their voices to stand up in this moment of change, including doubling down on their values; taking bigger, bolder risks alongside grantees; and seeking partnerships spanning the private and public sectors.

A new Health Center Data Insight by the Geiger Gibson/RCHN Community Health Foundation Research Collaborative at Milken Institute School of Public Health shows that for the six-year period 2010-2016, community health centers nationwide experienced a growth in patients served of one third, or 33 percent.
New York State Health Foundation Report: August 2018
With NYSHealth funding, HonestHealth conducted an inventory of more than 230 health care transparency tools across the United States. The resulting interactive, online database evaluates tools in four categories: physicians, hospitals, prescription drug pricing, and health insurance purchasing.
