Four years ago Massachusetts signed into law Chapter 224 of the Acts of 2012, “An Act Improving the Quality of Health Care and Reducing Costs through Increased Transparency, Efficiency and Innovation.” Recently, the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation released the third edition of the Chapter 224 Tracking Tool which provides a detailed description of the law’s key components and highlights the progress the state has made in its implementation as of September 2016.

The Colorado Health Foundation recently asked its grantees to participate in a survey, conducted by the Center for Effective Philanthropy (CEP), which was intended to answer questions related to its overall impact as a philanthropic organization.

Multiracial and black Kentuckians tend to report higher rates of smoking, obesity, asthma, and poor mental health than their white counterparts, according to a new report by the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky. The report also found that black and Hispanic Kentuckians are less likely to have health insurance than white Kentuckians.
