North Carolina Healthcare Foundation launched two major initiatives: the Social Impact Playbook and the Social Impact Hub.
The Playbook captures its framework for creating meaningful, community-led solutions—from concept to sustainability. It offers practical strategies, grounded in lived experience, to support others in launching or deepening their own social impact efforts, with case examples from Robeson County, North Carolina.
Alongside the Playbook, the foundation launched the North Carolina Health Foundation Social Impact Hub—a dedicated space designed to facilitate partnerships that improve health outcomes through community-led, systems-level solutions and sustainable, collaborative investments. The Hub is a forum for connection, dialogue, and shared learning, supporting individuals and organizations on their social impact journey. It includes:
- Social Impact Playbook – methodologies for improving social impact
- Mini-Grantee Spotlights – pilot partner case studies exploring non-medical drivers of health
- Peer-to-Peer Engagement – forums for professionals in the social impact field to connect and collaborate
- Social Impact Tools – digital tools to support impact measurement and implementation
- Social Impact Resources – curated links, downloads, and articles for continued learning
Together, the Playbook and Hub represent a comprehensive effort to strengthen the ecosystem of social impact in North Carolina—empowering communities and organizations to work together toward a healthier, more equitable future.
