VNA Foundation recently released the report, “Utilizing a Mixed-Methods Analysis to Differentiate Models of Healthcare for PSH Residents.” In it, the foundation describes a data project that was piloted to determine how healthcare can be best provided to residents in permanent supportive housing (PSH). Working with six PSH providers over three years, we collected data from the agencies’ databases, two Homeless Management Information Systems, interviews, and case studies to determine varying models of care and services that correlated with housing retention, use of primary care services, and benefits enrollment.
