The Merck Foundation has launched a United States initiative called the Community Collaborative for Reimagining HIV Care (the “Collaborative”). The Collaborative will help advance access to high-quality, person-centered care for people living with HIV in under-resourced U.S. communities. The foundation is committing $20 million over five years to support this initiative. Through the Collaborative, the foundation will provide grants to support the development and implementation of innovative, community-centered models of comprehensive care to meet the evolving needs of people living with HIV.
The Call for Proposals is now open. The foundation is seeking Letters of Intent from eligible nonprofit organizations in the United States, including but not limited to public or private health care institutions, community-based organizations, or units of state or local governments.
Letters of Intent from interested organizations are due by August 26, 2026 with full proposals due November 23, 2026.
